Shocking Blue was the first Dutch band to have a #1 hit single in the U.S. with "Venus" from their 1969 album At Home and their influence extended itself to new generations when both Nirvana and The Prodigy famously covered their infectious song "Love Buzz" decades later. Love Buzz also happens to be the name of this new vinyl-only compilation from Music On Vinyl which collects 17 of Shocking Blue's 'greatest hits' on double 10" gatefold vinyl. As a bonus the set includes a poster of singer Mariska Veres that you have to see to believe!
